Testimonials

We have been thrilled with Hope’s experience at JWS. It has offered us the chance to see our daughter in a whole new light. We get to see her in a social setting that we could not replicate on our own. She has thrived socially with the attention of her teachers and is developing tools to navigate interactions with other children on her own. JWS allows her to be a kid and to enjoy it while at the same time helping her navigate the ‘complex’ social interactions of toddlers. Additionally, her teachers have offered us (parents) useful strategies in dealing with some of the challenging aspects of toddlerhood.

— Ana, mother of a 3-year-old and an infant

Our entire family benefits from the JWS experience. From the creative classroom activities to the informative lectures and meetings with faculty and events like the Street Fair, school auction, and Watermelon Day, it brings something special to each of us.

— Erika, JWS parent

Allia is always asking me, ‘Is it a school day?’ and when I say yes, I hear ‘Yea!’ The staff is warm and kind and it always amazes me how much thought is put into the classrooms.

— Lianne, mother of a 4-year-old

Caring, nurturing...exceptional! A very special place for our boys and for us! Over the years, JWS has become part of our family.

— Nat, mother of boys ages 4 and 2

We’ve had six wonderful years at John Winthrop. We can’t say enough about the wonderful teachers and the warm community of the school. Our kids both had a terrific kindergarten experience and were fully prepared to move to first grade. We’ll miss everyone.
